Bluebells and Beech Trees

When we moved in it was the beginning of December (we’ve been here 6 months now!).  The garden was sparse and a bit derelict looking, but with some beautiful trees.  We had seen the Beech tree in Autumn looking pretty magnificent and we decided not to do too much on the garden in the first year as we wanted to discover what plants were already there.

As spring started we noticed lots of bulbs coming up under the trees.  First we got Snowdrops, but now we have hundreds of Bluebells!

The Bluebells have coincided with the Beech Tree coming back into leaf, looking might fine on a beautiful spring afternoon.
