The Courtyard

The courtyard is a rather grand name for a scrap of wasteland with a horrible washing line running across it. The courtyard is south facing, so the hope is that it will be used as a space for entertaining.  It is surrounded on two sides by the house and the back of the Coach House.

We hope to open out this space by putting in additional doors from the second reception room and the Coach House. There is a fire door leading to it which I hope is just metal nailed onto the original door, it seems to be.
